Karen Nelson Bell Presents Story Genie

Genie Corcoran and I met when we collaborated on a television production for a live show I was directing in 1993.  We won an "Emma" for that effort (an Emma is the little sister of the Emmy)!  We became friends, and when I found out she was a prolific writer, including having authored many charming children's stories, I asked her if I could put music to them. 

When she heard the songs, she said, "Let's make a TV show!"  A few months later, we were shooting " Tales from the Story Genie" with 14 incredibly talented young folks! 

Genie IS the Story Genie, and I'm Kaleidoscope Karen!  Our goal is to instill in youngsters a love of reading, rhyming, rhythm, music, and dance!
